With over 30 years of experience across engineering, innovation, business transformation and strategic consulting, and more than 8 years dedicated to the UK and European space ecosystems, Conrad is a recognised expert in developing space-enabled growth strategies and unlocking market opportunities across government, industry and academia.

Conrad has played pivotal roles in high-impact UK Space Agency initiatives, and previously as Principal Investigator at Exotopic, Regional Space Director for Expleo Group, and South West Cluster Manager for Satellite Applications Catapult, he has delivered national programmes, guided complex public-private partnerships, and supported emerging ventures to commercialise space and satellite applications for wide-ranging sectors.

He has also led the development of the UK Space Nuclear Power Technology Roadmap, and advised on regulatory, policy and investment. His broad knowledge of ESA’s BASS programme, and regional, national and international funding opportunities makes him an invaluable partner in proposal development, business support programmes, and strategic evaluations.

A trusted UKSA Assessor and mentor to space-enabled entrepreneurs and innovative start-ups, Conrad combines rigorous technical insight with a collaborative approach to team leadership, innovation strategy and stakeholder engagement. He brings a strong track record in building high-performing regional clusters and advancing space-enabled connectivity, environmental and sustainability initiatives.
